• # 4-5:  write the multiplication statement represented by the number line diagram
• #6:  draw number lines
• #7-9:  use the integer rules

Thurs Sept 23

Homework:

• finish "Quiz show" worksheet
• finish -10x3 worksheet

Rules for multiplying integers:

1. positive x positive = positive
2. negative x positive = negative
3. positive x negative = negative
4. negative x negative = positive

These are the same rules we've been using for double signs. 
A quick trick:  if the signs are the same, the answer is positive; if the signs are different, the answer is negative.

• do the back side of the "Sum Up" worksheet
• Quiz on adding and subtracting integers next class

Fri Sept 17

Homework:

• finish front side of "Sum Up" worksheet
